Creating an analogue shopping experience

Presentation date: 24. October
Presentation time: 10:15

Historically, typical retail lighting has succeeded with generic recipes for creating product highlights and perimeter flood lighting. These recipes no longer hold true. Marcel Dion believes that today’s shopping experiences require more theatre, more drama, more interest, welcoming customers and immersing them in the present. Examples will be shown of lighting design for shopping experiences in the digital age that is tied to the character of a brand, forming a symbiosis with the interior design to narrate the story of the brand experience.
