OLED Light Cloud – disrupting daily routines

Presentation date: 25. October
Presentation time: 12:15

When it comes to corporate buildings, art within architecture plays an important role. Whereas up until recently the majority of these artworks have been sculptures or paintings, time-based media installations play an increasingly important role. They range from purely audio-visual, video-based interventions depicting images to more abstract installations working with light or movement (so-called “kinetic-installations”). With their complex behaviours, visuals and sounds they provide manifold stimuli and coded meanings that result in different connotations.

The audience will gain a deep insight into this one-of-a-kind project where functional lighting (there are no other fixtures for illumination in the space) meets the artistic treatment of a space. Both the underlying technology as well as the concept will be discussed.

At the end of the presentation, the audience will understand how such an artistic installation works and if the expectations are met.
