Eirini Skafida has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (II Level) and an MSc in Lighting Design (II level) from the Faculty of Architecture Universita’ degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza”. Currently, she is currently pursuing research for her PhD at the National Technical University of Athens, focusing on lighting technologies being applied on metropolitan underground stations.
Eirini has gained professional experience as a lighting designer in Italy and in Greece. In her professional career, she has worked on a wide range of notable public and private lighting projects. She is also the author of several papers at European conferences and has had articles published in scientific journals. She is an active member of AIDI (Italian Association of illumination).
