Money can’t buy me love

Presentation date: 24. October
Presentation time: 16:45

Kapil Surlakar’s paper gives insight into how the various commercial forces at play today can affect the direction of a professional practice. He questions the importance of financial inducements vis-à-vis design as a knowledge-based service, and explores the possibility of how professional associations might help. The paper will raise fundamental questions and make everyone think about how to calibrate their responses in the wake of being confronted with challenges that go beyond design.
