Since the first PLDC in 2007, the globally recognised event has grown and developed with regard to the content and activities offered.
PLDC 2019 in Rotterdam will offer four tracks on three days with four topics and will be accompanied by a high-grade manufacturers’ exhibition, a space for partners from the industry to present their companies and services and to enter into discussions with lighting designers, specifiers, architects and professionals from light-related disciplines. Alongside the conference, there are additional opportunities to explore.
Dr. Ute Besenecker is a design researcher and educator focusing on the impact of lighting on human perception, behaviour and well-being in spatial environments.
Marc Engenhart is based in Stuttgart/DE. He teaches design as a visiting professor, provides design consultancy services and regularly publishes articles on artificial intelligence, design research, and the contemporary reception of experience, socio-cultural development and urban quality through music.
