Roberto Corradini/IT, Roberto Corradini Lighting Design

Roberto Corradini studied Architecture before gaining his Master’s degree in Lighting Design. In the course of his professional career as an independent lighting designer, he has realised various scale projects in Italy and abroad, including exhibitions, museums, hotels, residential projects, churches, retail stores, landscapes and gardens, historic buildings and urban master-planning. From 2006 to 2010, he worked with Consuline on projects in China, South Korea and Cambodia.

Most recently, he has been guest lecturer in Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and at the Venetian Association of Architects, at Friuli Venezia Giulia’s Association of Architects, and at La Sapienza’s University in Rome in the Facoltà di Architettura Valle Giulia.

He also teaches how to design with light for CPD programmes, and has published articles in Italian magazines dedicated to the culture of lighting.

In the architectural lighting field, his interests are focused on exploring the ways that light affects peoples’ environments and creates different settings and moods.

Roberto is a Registered Architect in Venice/I (Albo Architetti Provincia di Venezia) and devotes much time to the professional education of young lighting designers. Since 2016 he has been the Creative Manager of Luci in Riviera, the only-one-of-its-kind educational lighting workshop in Italy.

He is also a member of the Italian National Association for Standardisation UNI / CT 023 / GL 08 Technical Body for “Light pollution”.
