Tatiana du Albuquerque Ferreira graduated in Architecture and Urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (FAU/UFRJ) in 2007.
In 2012 she took a specialist course in Architectural Lighting Design at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and was a speaker at the Light Symposium 2015 in Stockholm, organized by KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) with a paper on her work on light for slum areas.
Through her internships she gained experience in architectural and urban lighting projects, working on residential, corporate, commercial and outdoor projects. Her interest in seeking new knowledge in urban lighting, participating in national and international workshops about urban, ephemeral and artistic lighting continued to grow, and she acted as a collaborator of partnerships at the Iberian American Lighting Design Meeting (EILD) held in Ouro Preto, Brazil in 2016.
In 2018, Tatiana gained a Master’s degree in Urbanism from the postgraduate program in Urbanism (PROURB-FAU/UFRJ), where she is currently studying for her doctorate.
