Alberto Loyo Montoya gained his first experience and inspiration in the field of lighting working as a Lighting Design Assistant at Lighteam, the desig practice headed by Gustavo Aviles in Mexico City. He has undertaken academic studies at different levels and universities in South and Central America. He studied Interior Design to Bachelor level and then gained a Master’s degree in the Science and Art of Design, whereby his main focus has always been lighting for people with low vision. Over the last three years he has also lectured on this topic.
