Experience Room
Fresh breeze, surrounded by nature, in the shade of trees – that’s how we want to live and work. To achieve this we use the world’s most innovative light source as our inspiration – daylight!
Experience Rooms
Learning is defined as “the act of acquiring new, or modifying and reinforcing, existing knowledge, behaviours, skills, values, or preferences and may involve synthesizing different types of information […]” (Wikipedia).
As people grow older, learning is typically regarded as something practised or acquired through reading, listening to lectures / presentations, watching a documentary or attending an evening class. However, as the definition outlines, learning need not only refer to skills and knowledge, but can also take the form of new or modified behaviour, values or preferences – which are acquired more often by actually experiencing something and thus actively experimenting within a situation.
PLDC is all about education and the further development of professional skills, and about promoting one’s personal career. PLDC in Rotterdam will again be offering Experience Rooms which invite attendees to learn through experimenting or actively experiencing light and light-related issues.
