Partners’ areas
PLDC is all about the community – which comprises established professionals and (professional) newcomers and students from the field of lighting design, daylight design, architecture, media architecture, communication design, interaction design, urban planning, education, research, plus the lighting industry and so many more.
To continuously broaden the network, PLDC is once again proud to present a highly valued list of partners from universities, educational institutes, associations, media, events and cities from around the world.
At PLDC 2019, there are two main areas for our partners – the Alto pre-function area, which is dedicated to Partner Associations, Universities, Institutes, Events and Cities plus the Aero pre-function area dedicated to Media Partners.
Universities and Institutes, as well as Associations have the possibility to present their programmes and structures in a short self-running presentation.
The pre-convention meetings include the traditional Cities’ Forum in the form of a Get Smart session, targeting municipalities and all involved in the planning and design of lighting in the urban realm. There will also be a meeting for Educators and Researchers, and an invitation-only meeting for Lighting Designers’ Associations.
Partner Events will have the chance to introduce their event during PLDC, giving PLDC attendees the chance to discover potential speaker opportunities and continuing professional development activities in their respective countries – and secure the best possible rate (10% reduction) for admission to Partner Events when they take place.
Media Partners have the opportunity to display sample copies of their magazines, and QR codes will provide links to online Media Partners.
