Federation of international lighting designers
We are happy to announce that FILD has accepted to be a Partner Association of PLDC 2019.
FILD is a professional association for lighting designers and educators of lighting design. The association aims to strengthen and further the establishment of Lighting Design as a profession, which includes gaining recognition for academic qualifications for lighting designers, establishing a scale of fees for professional lighting designers’ scope of work, and forging a network with national associations throughout Europe with the intention of establishing a united body to promote lighting design profession internationally.
On a practical level, FILD is also interested in supporting educational programmes, organising lighting design workshops, facilitating knowledge transfer and providing a platform for creative dialogue among international lighting designers.
The association is based in Frankfurt/DE but also open to lighting designers in other countries.
